“심장이 뛰네? 1분에 100번이래. 10분이면 1,000번이겠지?”‘기프트카’에 올라타 손깍지를 끼고 마네킹의 가슴을 연신 눌러대는 강원도 인제군 월학초등학교 아이들이 분주한 표정으로 외친다. 눈빛에는 위급한 상황에 처한 누군가를 내 손으로 살리겠다는 의지가 역력하다.
이날 아이들이 참여한 프로그램은 ‘기프트카 하트비트’. 차량 지원을 통해 우리 사회 곳곳의 사회문제를 해결하는 현대자동차그룹(이하 현대차그룹) 사회공헌 프로그램 ‘기프트카’의 열네 번째 캠페인이다.

사회의 목소리를 향해 움직인 24년의 여정

2010년, 취약계층을 대상으로 응원 댓글과 차량을 지원하는 광고로 시작한 현대차그룹의 ‘기프트카’ 프로그램은 올해로 시즌14를 맞이했다.
그동안 ‘기프트카’는 매년 하나의 사회문제를 주제로 선정하고 이를 해결하기 위한 다양한 캠페인을 운영해왔다.

기프트카 안에서
교육받아 더 재밌었어요.
대형 화면과 안전교육 장비가
잘 갖춰져 있어 좋았고요. 자동심장충격기 사용을
처음 배워봐서 떨렸지만,
이걸로 사람을
살릴 수 있다는 게
정말 신기했어요.
